We are now seeking a talented and experienced Aerospace Environmental Handbook Consultant to join our team with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in DO-160 EMC and Environmental Testing

 

As a Environmental Handbook Consultant within Expleo’s Aerospace division, you will support the design, development, and certification of our customers next generation aerospace development programme, ensuring compliance with DO-160 & MI-STD 810.  This is a senior role, requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and guide this development programme to deliver to customer specifications.

 

This role will require successful candidates to work in Ankara , Turkey.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

    • Act as the technical authority for Environmental Testing engineering in support of customer requirements.
    • Provide strategic direction on avionics design, development, and certification IAW DO-160 and Mil Std 810.
    • Lead and mentor Environmental Testing Engineers teams across the programme.

Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure all projects comply with DO-160 & MI-STD 810 requirements and other applicable regulatory frameworks

Project Delivery

    • Oversee the successful delivery of Environmental Testing product support, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
    • Manage technical risks, ensure robust problem-solving approaches, and maintain engineering excellence.
    • Drive customer satisfaction by aligning project outcomes with client expectations.

Innovation and Development

    • Promote innovation in DO-160 technologies, fostering a forward-thinking culture within the team.
    • Support business development by contributing technical expertise to bids and proposals.

Collaboration and Communication

    • Serve as the primary technical interface for internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
    • Collaborate with other Expleo departments and global teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 year experience in Aerospace Industry
  • Have an experience in Environmental Handbook (DO-160G & MI-STD 810)
  • Have knowledge in Mechanical Vibration Analyses and Evaluation of the Vibration and Acceleration requirements generated from MIL-STD-810 or DO-160G
  • Preferred to have knowledge in of aircraft vibroacoustic sources such as propulsion, airstream, Jetstream etc.
  • Familiar with aircraft structures and systems
  • Familiar with System engineering processes and generating requirements according to the Environmental Handbook
