Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Business Change Manager with experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) change management. The Business Change Manager will be  responsible for leading and managing the change management activities related to the implementation and optimisation of the SAP EWM solution (system, processes, data).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change management strategies for the SAP EWM project, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and resistance related to changes and develop mitigation plans.
  • Work with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and key-users, to ensure buy-in and support for the SAP EWM project initiatives.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication about changes as a result of the SAP EWM project to all impacted parties.
  • Create communication materials such as emails, newsletters, presentations, and intranet content to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Ensure training programs are tailored to the needs of different user groups and are aligned with change management objectives.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify the effects of the SAP EWM solution on business processes, organisation, roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop action plans to address any issues identified during the impact analysis.
  • Monitor the progress of change management activities and report on key metrics such as employee adoption, training completion, process conformance and feedback.
  • Provide regular updates to the EWM project team and business leadership on the status of change management initiatives.
  • Provide support and coaching to managers and supervisors to help them lead their teams through the change process effectively.
  • Address any concerns or issues raised by employees related to SAP EWM project changes.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continuously improve the change management approach.
  • Update change management plans and strategies as needed to adapt to evolving project requirements and organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)
  • Additional Technical Certifications: Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2

Essential skills

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms.

Experience

  • Experience in change management, preferably within SAP or other ERP implementations.
  • Experience with SAP EWM or other warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing change in complex organisational environments – ideally within a warehouse/logistics environment.

What do I need before I apply

  • You'll also need to be flexible to travel to client sites across the UK as required, specifically Dordon (Tamworth)
